[myth-ie] Red-Eye Serial and NTL Digital

Hi,

Finally getting a bit of a chance to get this Myth box going (it's been
sitting around a while!)

I am trying to get the Red-eye serial IR transmitter working with my NTL
digital (Pace DC221KN) box, with no joy. It is sending commands but the
NTL box does not react at all.

Two thing I am not clear on:

Where is the actual IR receiver on these boxes

Does it use IRDA or RC5?

Any useful way to debug this?
