[myth-ie] MythDora

Have any of you tried MythDora? (http://g-ding.tv/) I'm toying with
the idea of using that as my "Clean New Install" choice instead of
running thru Jarod's instructions or doing another system. It's Fedora
Core 6 + MythTV 0.20 already set up on a single DVD (or two CDs) and
sounds like a clean way to start over.

Well, not fully start over ... my first exercise tonight/tomorrow is to
find the right way to make the accumulated details about recorded shows
and such make it into the new one. In particular, how to make the
contents of /video/recordings be loaded up with the database entries
such that the new system will have all the correct information for
what's already been recorded and not yet watched. I'd like to not have
to re-enter all of our recording schedules and such, for example.

Bank holiday weekends are made for throwing caution to the wind. Unless
I change my mind. ;)

P.S. One reason to wait: I'm thinking about getting a 2nd 500gb disk (to
go with the new one that'd be replacing the existing 250gb), and set it
up using RAID mirroring to improve our odds for a longer-lasting
system. Instead of a CD-ROM in the second slot of the Shuttle box, I'm
thinking of planting the second drive in there and use a USB CDROM drive
for the install since I've never played CDs or watched original DVDs
inside MythTV.
