Thanks for the suggestion.  That's really enticing ... if Mythdora on
the TV doesn't work, and Mythbuntu similarly fails, I'll use that as my
fall-back.

Or Mythbuntu + a mythtv build from source, mebbe.

I recall now that Mythbuntu will push me to drop the RAIDness and switch
to using one and rsync/dd/etc to the other, which is perfectly fine too
having pondered it a bit. :)
