Interesting!

I have a problem with ext3 that if I delete a recording, the hard drive
will immediately rattle through the deletion operation -- slowing
everything else down and causing playback problems.  Maybe reformatting
as xfs would help that... Glen, have you noticed any slowdown after
deleting a recording with xfs?
