Hoping to have a go at this myself over the next few months. From my reading
of the situation you wont need a CAM to decode the signal as there's no
encryption involved.  I'll be putting up a dish specially for this as I
don't currently have Sky, so I can send on an update then. This will most
likely be towards the end of June.

Regarding the LNB, my understanding is that Sky+ needs a dual LNB, as it can
record one channel while letting you watch another. If you have a quad LNB
you can take up to two additional feeds from the satellite to do with as you
wish.

I'll be feeding the signal into a Hauppauge 3000 card which is a hybrid
DVB-S / DVB-T / Analogue card. So far though I haven't had much joy in using
it on the DTT signals, but it's meant to work ok with DVB-S feeds. If you're
buying a card, maybe check out the Hauppauge 4000, which will allow you work
with Hi-Def stuff they will be broadcasting.
