[WM] webmake and subdirectories

i am experimenting with webmake.  however my first
project is stumping me.  i am trying to make a web
site that uses a site-navigation panel on the left and
content on the right (common on the web).  i want the
content to be retrieved from multiple directories
(eventually there will be hundreds of files).  

i loaded content with the contents src="" name=.../txt
statement and according to debug it loads all the
files in all dirs and subdirs.

i am using the sample code to make a list of content
names with the perl routine get_content and/or
get_sorted_content.  however i can't get at files in
more than one directory at a time.  i have tried
regular expressions and file globs.  does anyone have
any tips.

eventually i will try to use the site_map feature to
build the site map on the left of the pages and have
the content on the right but i cannot even enumerate
the loaded content at this point.
