Yeah, metadata is tricky (internally), because it's lazy-loaded where
possible; for efficiency, you don't want to have to load and parse every
content item, just to read it's metadata.

But having said that, it's important to have the public APIs work in
an intuitive way.

I'll take a look at this.  BTW could you also post on a smallish .wmk
file (direct to me) to reproduce this?  Then I can add it to the test
suite as well.
