Hello Webmake-List
I just recently found webmake and I think it has a lot of potential.
Trying to create my new homepage with webmake, but I have some problems.
I want to separate webmake-source and actual page so as to just edit the
webmake-files at one point and create the homepage at another point on my server.
I thought, I could go with -d, as this creates the files in the other
directory as described. But now I have the problem, that the
contents-tag also searches the files in that directory. But I want to
have them in the same directory-root at the root wmk-File, so I am able
to put them also under cvs.
This separation has the advantage that I can test the new homepage at
one server with webmake -d onedirectory and then to copy it to another
directory, where it will be rsynced with my homepage online (webmake -d
otherdirectory).
So, is this behaviour wanted that -d also changes the source for
<contents> and so tags?
Another question, connected to the above question. Would it be possible
to convince webmake to also manage image-Files. I would love to have the
sources for my webpage in one place, do a make (which calls webmake with
different parameters) and then create my whole homepage at another
directory, ready to be rsynced.
Is this to complicated to achieve, or did I oversee something. I admit I
started with webmake just recently.
