[WM] rebuilding files using perl code

Hi all,

I have the following problem: when I run WebMake, the output files which are 
(partly) generated by perl code aren't rebuild even if they should have 
changed. To force the generation of those files you have to use the force 
option (-F). But this has the disadvantage that all other output files are 
rebuild, too, most of them unnecessarily. As a consequence, every time when I 
upload some changes to my website provider using sitecopy, the entire site 
has to be uploaded since every file has changed.

Does anybody has a similar experience or a solution for this problem (perhaps 
a possibility that WebMake rebuilds only the necessary files or that sitecopy 
uploads only the really changes files)? I'm grateful for any hints.
