[WM] Need to be root?

Lou,
Depends on how you run it.
I run it on the command line, so I just type webmake as myself.
Once it generates the files I have a script that copies them locally,
and then uploads them to my server. The only trick was to change the
PERL5LIB to include where I put the webmake perl modules (which was
not the regular perl library location). None of this needed root.
If you want to run it as a cgi I would think you could do so without
being root as long as you can set the PERL5LIB environment variable
for apache. It should be possible, but since I have run the
webmake.cgi myself I don't really know for sure. Maybe someone else
on the list can tell you
